Coptic Stitch Binding
Taught by Jenniffer Omaitz
Coptic binding is considered the first true codices and it’s long standing history and technique has withstood the test of time. This one day workshops will introduce you to the Coptic stitch binding from cover to cover. You will learn how to create a small book with a single needle approach and a multiple needle approach. Students will master the basic structure and rhythm needed to complete a single book, or graduate to more complicated stitch techniques.
