Mixed Technique Papermaking

Taught by Tom Balbo

Papermaking is a medium that lends itself well to a multitude of techniques. Under the facilitation of the Morgan’s founder and Artistic Director, you will experiment with multiple types of Eastern and Western fibers, and gain experience in sheet forming, pulp painting, deckle boxes, and simple casting techniques. In this experimental art lab geared towards the creation of individual artworks, you can arrive with a pre-planned idea or leave yourself open to the possibilities.
