Natural Dyes on Paper
Taught by Maggie Latham
Dyeing fiber is a great way to customize materials for future use or create a body of work entirely through the dye process. Throughout this two-day workshop you will learn how to create eco-friendly non-toxic dye baths using beneficial plants. You will also learn how to make a soymilk mordant to bind your dye to your paper. The final product will be an array of beautifully colored, naturally dyed and/or eco-printed paper that you can use for future projects.
