From plant to paper, the Morgan preserves and promotes Eastern and Western papermaking traditions, by cultivating an urban garden that provides renewable fiber plants, natural dyes and other crops essential for the art form. Employing techniques that sustain, innovate and transform, the Morgan is the only non-profit organization in the U.S. producing a large volume of paper for sale to national arts organizations, prominent artists and individuals with an appreciation for fine craftsmanship.
