The Morgan Conservatory would not be what it is today without the support from our dedicated volunteers. From construction help to Kozo garden maintenance, year after year, our presence in the community is deeply tied to those who have dedicated their time, energy, and professional skills to help us grow.

As a multi-faceted organization, we have a wide variety of opportunities for those interested in volunteering. Some of those opportunities include:

• Garden Care (pruning, trimming, transplanting, mowing, Kozo Harvest)

• Kozo scraping for papermaking

• Supporting the Morgan staff during our various events (bartending, serving, cleaning, set up, break down)

• Distribution of promotional materials

• Office assistance (filing, stuffing envelopes, organization, paper organization)

• Assistance in Studios (assisting the studio coordinator in daily tasks that need taking care of in our bindery, paper, and print studios.)

  • Organizing Studio Spaces

• Assisting in gallery layout and hanging artwork

Volunteer hours can be credited towards a workshop tuition waiver or an open studio fee wavier. Please keep in mind that your volunteer hours will expire after a year.  To attend a workshop or an open studio session using your volunteer hours, please contact volunteer@morganconservatory.org.
