Lawrence Schreiber was an outstanding photographer whose primary subjects were the Cuyahoga River and its industrial environment. He did his own printing and developing and specialized in bromoil transfer, an obscure art of inking prints to resemble etchings. Through the process of bromoil transfer, he would transform commponplace objects into beautiful pictorial prints.
