Your support of our Annual Fund helps the Morgan Conservatory FLOURISH as we grow and evolve!

It impacts our efforts to:

  • Expand Art Accessibility: Extend the reach of our Community Workshops and scholarships (the Morgan Equitable Artist Fund) by serving over 600 children, families, neighbors, and seniors who experience our enriching programs, workshops, and exhibitions every year.

  • Empower Emerging and Student Artists: Provide studio access and mentoring opportunities through classes, residencies, Open Studio Membership, and internships, as well as opportunities to share artistic work in our gallery and store.

  • Preserve Traditional Arts & Crafts: Contribute to a thriving and inclusive artistic landscape by introducing both historical and contemporary approaches to the arts and crafts of hand papermaking, letterpress printing, and bookbinding, ensuring that the next generation of practitioners is uplifted.

Your Gift to the Morgan Conservatory Can Make a Positive Impact in Artistic Excellence for the Cleveland Region

Thank You For Helping Us Surpass Our $20,000 Goal!

This year the Morgan is focused on creating opportunities for artistic growth and excellence. Despite losing an important grant, we are pushing forward with two of our most dynamic programs because we believe in supporting artists and cultural growth in the Cleveland area and Northeast Ohio. The Morgan’s renowned Artists-in-Residence program provides emerging and established artists from around the world an opportunity to concentrate and develop new ambitious projects in papermaking, printmaking, and book arts. Working with five phenomenal artists this year, they will have 24-7 access to our state-of-the-art studios while sharing their work through artist talks and more.

Secondly, the Morgan is launching a Certificate in Professional Papermaking this summer, a six-week intensive program that will train the next generation of hand papermakers. Strengthening their technical skills in Eastern and Western papermaking, they will cultivate contemporary collaborative and artistic techniques that are essential to this continuously evolving craft and art form. The five selected artists will emerge as professional papermakers at a graduation ceremony with public presentations on Saturday, July 25th.

Help us provide pivotal opportunities for these promising and talented artists to grow their flourishing practices by making a tax-deductible donation today. Gifts up to the first $5,000 will be matched, making your gift go twice as far!

  • $100 provides paper pulp and supplies for one Certificate student for two weeks

  • $500 covers studio materials and access for one Artist-in-Residence

  • $1,000 provides expert studio access for two Artists-in-Residence

  • $1,500 provides housing for one Certificate Program student

  • $2,500 supports artist talks and public receptions for all ten of the artists we welcome to the Morgan this year
