Impressions of a Garden: Nature Printing and Botanical Art Workshop

This two-day workshop will explore papers, printing inks, and water-based media to capture the forms, patterns, and textures of garden botanicals for artist books. Students will be encouraged to experiment with different weights and types of paper while learning eco-printing and gelatin monoprinting. Students will have the option to then collage and add more layers to their prints through watercolor, gouache, ink, and color pencil to create a final botanical image. Registration deadline: 7/15/2023
