New and Exciting Features In Our Store!

During this past year we have upgraded our store to welcome in a new generation of artists as well as lovers and supporters of the paper arts. This means we have new inventory and an updated website to better serve our customers. Thanks to our fabulous Store Assistant, Erica

Cingle, who has spearheaded this endeavor, we can now showcase everything our paper makers and the Morgan can offer.

Hand papermaking is the foundation of the Morgan Conservatory, which produces a variety of unique western and eastern-style papers for distribution throughout the U.S. From plant to paper, the Morgan preserves and promotes Eastern and Western papermaking traditions, by cultivating an urban garden that provides renewable fiber plants, natural dyes and other crops essential for the art form. Employing techniques that sustain, innovate and transform, the Morgan is the only non-profit organization in the U.S. producing a large volume of paper for sale to national arts organizations, prominent artists and individuals with an appreciation for fine craftsmanship.

In our store we carry both eastern and western styles of paper in all colors and textures.

Some of those include cotton, abaca, flax, kozo (mulberry), hemp, and more! We also feature and rotate select papers and styles depending on what we are making in our studios. To stay in the loop on the latest paper drops, sign up for our newsletters on our website, and follow us on social media.

We also carry zines, journals, and other prints made by our artists in residence and members. These pieces are commissioned based, with profit going back to the artist. Another unique offering we have is custom made paper. You can inquire about specific pulp, colors, and quantity with one of our staff members. There is a 25 sheet minimum for a custom order, but if you are an artist seeking something for a specific project, this might be the best option for you! We are so excited for all these new changes to transition into an easier shopping experience for our patrons. Stop by and visit the store anytime during our business hours, Tuesday - Saturday 10am - 4pm.
