About
Building on skills learned in Intro to Bookbinding, Part I, participants will delve more deeply into the trade's history, terminology, and tools. By focusing on more complex forms (Archival Long Stitch, sewing onto cords, and long stitch-kettle stitch), participants will gain hands-on experience with tools such as the sewing cradle, PVA/wheat paste, and nipping press. Participants will then make personalized bound journals using the form/stitch of their choice. No prior experience required! Registration deadline: 3/9/24
Student Supply List: - cutting mat - x-acto blade - notebook - pencil - decorative paper (optional)
