Come learn about the eastern paper making process on September 4th from 10am-4pm for a Kozo Scraping Party!
Scraping is where the outer bark called chiri, is removed from the inter bass fiber used to make washi and hanji papers. Removal of the chiri is integral in producing translucent white sheets.
All are welcome and no experience is necessary! Light refreshments will be provided.
