Masu Boxes and Storage Books
Instructor: Amanda D'Amico
VIRTUAL WORKSHOP
DATE: Monday, July 19th, 2021
TIME: 5:00 pm–8:00 pm EST
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Monday, July 5th, 2021
The Masu Box, or “measurement box,” is a simple origami structure made of paper. This square box can be used to wrap gifts or store objects, but it can also be adapted with simple bookbinding techniques to make sculptural book objects. During this virtual workshop, you will begin with a box and a lid, and then play with these paper elements to create books that can house images or small objects and be explored by hand.
