Join us in welcoming the Morgan’s new board members, Burnell McKenna, Ryan Rosenthal, and Jasmina Tadic! Executive Director Nicole Donnelly shared, “I am thrilled to welcome our new board members with their financial insight, appreciation for the arts, and fresh energy to the Morgan Conservatory.”
Burnell McKenna is a Caribbean-born visual artist whose work seeks to share and preserve beauty, particularly that which is fragile yet enduring. Working across watercolor and abstraction, she is committed to sustainable materials and to forms of making rooted in careful, material-based processes. Central to her practice is a reverence for handmade paper, hand-ground watercolors and rustic, hand-crafted traditions. Burnell is deeply invested in collaborative art practices and in preserving handmade traditions that are meant to carry forward in time through care, attention, and shared experience. Having lived and worked in Ireland for more than fifteen years, she was a recipient of the Arts Council of Ireland’s 2022 Agility Award. Alongside her artistic work, Burnell brings over a decade of senior leadership experience shaping growth and transformation across complex international organizations. She holds an honors degree in Law and is currently completing an Executive MBA at Trinity College Dublin, bringing innovation, perspective, and a strong commitment to partnership, mentorship and shaping future-ready skills with ways of working across disciplines and sectors.
Ryan Rosenthal is the Reimbursement Manager for University Hospitals Health System responsible for $200M+ in Medicare reimbursement and specializing in Medicare Cost Reporting. Ryan’s professional background is in Accounting (MBA), Healthcare Finance and Regulatory reporting. He lives in Northeast Ohio (Twinsburg area) with his family and enjoys outdoor activities including hiking. Ryan is also an entrepreneur, creating faith-based journal products that empower others to align vision, faith, and success. Some of his journal products have been featured on local news outlets and sold at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Ryan is passionate about mentorship and developing tools that inspire growth in both business and personal life.
Jasmina Tadic is a recently retired wealth advisor from a leading financial firm. With expertise in comprehensive financial planning, she adeptly guided clients through retirement, investment, and insurance strategies. With a true appreciation and passion for the arts, she is excited to be joining the Morgan Conservatory board in their exceptional commitment to papermaking and book arts, especially during this time of the organization’s growth. During her free time, Jasmina enjoys cooking, practicing yoga and spending time with her family.
Exiting the board of directors is MP Marion. “In this period of transition, as we welcome three new members, I would like to express extreme gratitude to the dedicated board members who have ended their terms,” stated board president Franklin Hickman. “While MP has reached her term limit she remains an enthusiastic volunteer and is looking forward to her new role on the Advisory Board.”
The Morgan Conservatory is dedicated to preserving and advancing excellence in every facet of hand papermaking, letterpress printing, and book arts for all. The Morgan pursues its educational and charitable purposes by serving the greater community locally, nationally, and internationally with sustainable practices in an innovative green environment.
