About

Pulp and Print: Screen Printing on Handmade PaperInstructor:

DATE: Saturday, August 14th - Sun, August 15th, 2021

TIME 10:00 am–4:00 pm

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Tuesday, August 10th

During this two-weekend workshop, your first weekend will be at the Morgan Conservatory, where you will learn every step of the papermaking process. You will experiment with pulp painting- a process where thin layers of pigmented fiber create atmospheric, watercolor-like papers, and stenciling techniques to create more graphic images. You will leave this workshop with a stack of handmade paper to use at home, or the following weekend, at Zygote Press to learn the process of screen printing.
