About
Inspired by traditional needlework samplers, this one day workshop explores several decorative
sewing patterns for books with one to two signatures. Building on a simple pamphlet stitch, participants will learn a variety of stitches and execute them on a single, multi-signature book. The result is a decorative and functional book that serves as a reference for sewing and a specimen of achievement in and of itself. Previous sewing experience is helpful but not necessary.
