New Faces Popping Up at The Morgan: Welcome Seneca Kuchar and Hannah Ayers
The Morgan Conservatory is pleased to welcome two bright new faces, Seneca Kuchar and Hannah Ayers to our staff. Seneca will be our new Gallery Office Assistant responsible for our exhibitions schedule and Artists-in-Residence program, Hannah is our newly appointed Development Manager responsible for our fundraising efforts, donor events, and member relations.
Hannah Ayers is a Cleveland, Ohio transplant from Cassopolis, Michigan. She received a BFA in Studio Art from the College of Wooster, and completed her Masters of Fine Arts in Painting from Miami University in 2019. She is a practicing artist working primarily in oil painting, who enjoys experimenting with new mediums. She has exhibited artwork locally and nationally. Hannah is passionate about visual literacy and believes in increasing accessibility to artistic practices and expanding arts education in our community.
Seneca Kuchar is a painter from rural Michigan. She earned BFAs in Drawing and Painting from the Cleveland Institute of Art in 2021. Her work focuses on American car culture and blue collar workers in the automotive industry. Her honors include the Kelly Druger Award for Excellence in Painting, the Joseph McCullough ‘48 Scholarship for painting, and the Cleveland Institute of Art’s Gund Family Scholarship. Seneca also won second place in Eastern Michigan Universities Fresh Looks 2021 Exhibition. In 2020 she was SPACES' Programming Fellow and continues her work there as an Office Assistant.
We are excited to add more artists to our staff, and their unique perspectives and ideas will be greatly utilized in their respective roles. We can’t wait to see all the exciting work they will bring to the Morgan. Stop in during gallery hours to welcome them to the community!
It's wonderful to see Seneca Kuchar and Hannah Ayers join The Morgan Conservatory, bringing their diverse artistic backgrounds and passion for Football Bros expanding accessibility to the arts, which will undoubtedly enrich the community and contribute to the growth of the institution.
